Rotary Club of Hunterston announce that from 1st July 2016 the members of Rotary Club of Ardrossan and Saltcoats will be joining them in a merged club which will continue to be called the Rotary Club of Hunterston.
Schools and community activities in West Kilbride and the Three Towns will continue to be supported and the enlarged club will enable new opportunities to be considered in these areas.
Hunterston President David Ennis noted that the two clubs had already been cooperating in recent years and welcomed the many years of Rotary experience that the new members would bring.
Ardrossan and Saltcoats President Donnie Shedden was encouraged that most of their existing activities and alliances would continue and thanked the many people in the Three Towns for their support over many years and hoped that this would continue in the future.
Rotary Club of Hunterston meets on the 1st,3rd and 5th Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the Seamill Hydro. Anyone interested in joining should contact David Ennis on 07760 173392 or Alex Blair on 07971617909.
