There are various flooding problems affecting Largs, Millport and Fairlie at Tuesday lunchtime.
There is heavy flooding at the dip in the road leaving West Kilbride for Fairlie, while there are reports of flooding between Fairlie and Largs, as you can see from Charlie Gilmour's video, and the above picture by Iain Dalgleish was taken today to the north of Largs at the junction with Routenburn Road.
Water is pouring down Routenburn Road on to the A78.
Fairlie Community Council have also been in touch with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency regarding flooding issues in the village, amid further reports of discoloured water at the Fairlieburn entering the sea.
Ferry Road on Cumbrae has recently re-opened after flooding.
The A78 in West Kilbride was closed in both directions due to flooding between Kilrusken Road and Portencross Road but is now back open. Heavy goods vehicles are able to pass with care.
Millport police officer PC Emans has already given out a warning on social media to islanders to take care on the coastal road and Ferry Road where there is standing water.
