A local dog walker has contacted the 'News' to warn residents about what she believes to be dangerous quicksands on Seamill beach.
Elaine Campbell says that it's only a matter of time before a child or pet get into serious trouble on the sand near to the Waterside Hotel.
And on a local Facebook page, a resident said: "There is quicksand at beach at Seamill, I went up to my knees and lost a trainer. People are getting stuck. Horses could break a leg."
