What has happened to West Kilbride's popular tractor seat?
A seat was ripped off an exhibition tractor near the entrance to West Kilbride in an act of vandalism that has angered local people.
Resident Liz McLardy contacted the ‘News’ to state that the popular tractor at the corner of the entrance into West Kilbride, near Chapelton Farm, had been damaged. It is a very popular attraction, and over the years, hundreds of kids have sat down on the tractor, and had their photograph taken.
In recent weeks, a bench near the beach at West Kilbride Golf Course was damaged by vandals. Police have stated that they will give the area extra attention, and there is an ongoing enquiry in relation to several vandalised benches in the area during the past year.
If you can help the police with any of the above incidents, phone 101.
