A wedding at Seamill Hydro was rounded off to a tee when two of the golfing world’s well-known faces stopped by for a photo.

The ‘wedding crashers’ last Saurday night were Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston and Spanish star Rafa Cabrera Bello, who stormed to victory with a final round of 64 on Sunday at Dundonald Links.

Ryan Morrison and his new wife Natalie were out getting more photos taken on Saturday during a break in the bad weather when they bumped into the guys who were paired together in the final day of competition.

And massive golf fan Ryan was only too happy to be snapped with the stars.

The couple have already jetted off on honeymoon but Natalie’s mum Sandra said it was ‘an extra tick in the box’ on what was already a fabulous day.

In a strange coincidence, Natalie had got her hands on the Scottish Open trophy before the Spanish World Number 17 as she is a teacher at Winton Primary School and the trophy, along with the Scottish Ladies Open trophy, was touring round North Ayrshire Schools as part of an initiative with Active Schools.

Sandra said that Natalie had shook his hand the night before he romped home without dropping a shot and that it might have just been that extra bit of luck he needed.

Cabrera Bello tweeted saying ‘Always loved the comedy “Wedding crashers” Today @BeefGolf and I crashed their photo session. Huge congrats to the newly weds!”
