More than 50,000 women and 350 men in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer every year - and one woman every 45 minutes loses her life to the disease.
Right now, breast cancer is at a tipping point. More women are surviving. But more are being diagnosed than ever before. One in eight women in the UK will face breast cancer in their lifetime. And every 45 minutes, another woman dies from the disease.
Breast Cancer Now is aiming to change that as the UK’s largest breast cancer research charity – and dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease.
The charity is funding almost £24 million worth of cutting-edge research, supporting nearly 450 scientists.
