West Kilbride padel players David McCulloch and John Byrne headed to Paris earlier in the month to take part in a four nations tournament. Representing Scotland, they finished third on Saturday. England 1st, Ireland 2nd and beating Monaco 2-1. The West of Scotland Padel Vets combination put the club firmly on the map after winning all three matches on Sunday for Scotland. In the individual pairs event today, John and David won all three matches in the group stage, then won semi final in a super tie break before losing the final 6-4, 6-4 to a strong French pairing. The padel centre at Stevenston hosted a British Padel Tour event featuring many local players last weekend
