Traditionally quiet farm fields in West Kilbride could take centre stage in national television later this year.
This year's national sheepdog trials will take place at Portencross by Yonderfield Farm from 2 to 4 August.
The sheepdog trials have been broadcast over recent years on BBC Alba.
