Coal power station meeting on Friday

North Ayrshire and Arran MP Katy Clark is holding a public meeting in West Kilbride Community Centre on Friday 29th January at 7.30pm with special guest Alan Simpson MP, Government Advisor on Climate Change and Energy. The meeting will focus on the issued raised by the proposed Coal power station at Hunterston.
Ms Clark said: "I am holding this meeting for those who have expressed their concerns over climate change and also the proposals at Hunterston a chance to discuss the matter with Alan Simpson who is Special Advisor to the Department for Energy and Climate Change.
"Alan has spent many of his 17 years in Parliament campaigning to end fuel poverty and fighting for greater use of renewable energy and is looking forward to coming to North Ayrshire and Arran to talk about the threat of climate change, energy and carbon capture
"All constituents are welcome."
