Suzuki motorbike swiped from garden

A silver Suzuki RV 215 motorbike was stolen from Glen View in West Kilbride. A 44 year old man reported the £1600 theft from his garden which happened between 6.30pm on Wednesday 15 August and 8am on Thursday 16 August.

Inspector Andy Clark said: "The owner had been working on the motorbike and it had not starter motor on it, so it wouldn't go. It would have to have been pushed away or transport would have been necessary to take it away."

* A 39 year old man reported that someone had thrown a bottle at the windscreen of his Volkswagen Sharan car following a fight in the Main Street of West Kilbride.

The driver was heading through the town centre in his car when he noticed an ongoing fight and one of the individuals from the group threw a glass bottle directly at the windscreen.

The vandal was descirbed as aged 20-30, approximately 6 foot tall, heavy build, with short light brown hair, a white t-shirt and grey shorts.
