A West Kilbride councillor has asked North Ayrshire Council to carry out a review into letters sent home via schoolchildren as young as five after a wind farm lobbying letter was distributed to primary pupils.

Robert Barr, who is depute Provost, raised the question at the final NAC meeting of the year, over the issue of letters sent home in schoolbags, and said: "It shouldn't be used as a free postal service for lobbying."
