Business Gateway Ayrshire are offering free seminars to budding entrepreneurs looking to start a new business or if you want to grow an existing venture, They are offering a comprehensive range of free seminars, workshops and events will provide the information and knowledge you need. The start-up sessions running throughout January includes: Awareness – Wednesday, 14th January from 2 p.m to 4.30 p.m at East Ayrshire Council, London Road, Kilmarnock – This workshop aims to make you aware of the various requirements involved in setting up a business.

Marketing – Tuesday, 20 January from 2pm to 4.30 p.m at Business Gateway, 6 Forbes Drive, Ayr – This event will look at the role of marketing in your business, how to identify your target customers, how to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your competitors and how to carry out market research.

Finance – Tuesday 27 January from 10 am to 12.30 pm at Business Gateway, 6 Forbes Drive, Ayr – This workshop will explore how to manage a profit and loss account, how to produce a cashflow statement, different sources of finance and the different legal structures of a business.
