It ‘Disney’ get better than this!
West Kilbride Gala put on its annual showcase on Saturday, and everyone rallied round as the theme of this year’s event was the animated movie ‘Frozen’.
But thankfully, the weather was anything but as it was a glorious day with the parade.
This year’s Gala King and Queen were Lima Graham and Rebecca Muir, and the first attendant was Kaitlynn Welsh, and the other attendants were Shavonne Elliot, Jennifer Kelly, and Caitlin Higgins.
The Royal Party was complete with page boys Blair Storrie, James Corney and Jack McConnachie, and eight princesses Lily Longwall, Payton Tiffoney, Madison McLachlan, Haley Wilson, Lucie Wilson, Katie McCalmont, Emma McKinlay and Sophie Stewart Giles.
A surprise visitor on Saturday was Billy Kean, who visited the first West Kilbride gala after the second world war, and showed to the organiser an original picture from the 1940s when he was a prince, alongside the late Nello Pisani, and the gala queen.
