The content of the comment you wish to complain about was:

"After reading the letter reguarding the plight of the chickens it once again saddens me that such incidents are occurring more and more with people complaining at problems created by themselves heres an example"but there has been a custom over the years for these people to empty their garden waste and other rubbish over the quarry wall - so partly due to the build up of rubbish thrown over the edge of the quarry, the chickens were able to scale the heights" they knew if the dumped enough over the edge the chickens would eventually climb up thus creating the problem,So they can complain Why not charge them with fly tipping this would put an end to there dumping nonsense,i think the fact that its an upmarket part of west kilbride is another reason why peoples "complaints" are listened to more that say from a less well of street or area in any town or village Would you have any idea how the knot weed appear in quarry? Or is it an on going thing,I have spoken to someone who has dealt with knot weed and succesfully rid it from there property Worst thing to do is cut any part of plant as ANY part of it will appear to die,then it re shots and plants itself in ground,I would imagine the people living next to quarry would be happy for any work to rid the area of this pest would be greeted with open arm sadly not "
