Largs are heading to Castle Park on Saturday to play Blantyre Vics, and are in high spirits after an amazing turnaround on Saturday, 2pm kick-off.
And Thistle assistant boss Arnie, a.k.a Stuart Davidson, has urged his players to keep showing the same desire and determination, heading into the final seven fixtures.
Arnie said: "We have seven cup finals to go and that is how we must treat them. We want to win every game, it is no good saying 'You can't win them all' - we want to win every game we play, be it league, cup or whatever. We need to keep fighting, and see where it takes us."
Arnie said he was proud of the boys and how hard they worked in the second half: "It was a shaky start and a poor goal to concede, and we did really well to get back into the game, so it was very disappointing to concede a second. did really well to get in front of the defender
"Muiry (Graham Muir) - I don't know how he managed to score the goal as the ball looked practically out of the park, but it was a brilliant goal, and Ciaran Friels had a battle with a defender to win the ball and make the pass. Muir did really well to get in front of the defender to make the finish, and that is something we have been encouraging the boys to do.
"It was a good penalty finish from Kevin Struthers - he had just come off the bench and took the responsibility and it worked out.
"And the goal from Gary Fleming was excellent - again, he took the responsibility, he thought about passing, but went for it. I am delighted for him as I feel he sometimes doesn't get the credit he deserves for the work he puts in."
And the long stretch of away games doesn't concern Arnie, who said: "I think we can adapt, and I think we can play as well away as we can at home."
And while it is all about Thistle v Blantyre this weekend, it is another huge league clash as Largs head to Kilwinning who have been unbeaten in the league since the last time they played Thistle in September, when the Barrfields side ran out convincing winners in the end 3-1.
The Buffs are licking their wounds after a 3-0 reversal in the Scottish Cup semis 1st leg at Beith. Thistle will be hoping to banish the memory of their last visit to Abbey Park when they were thrashed 5-0 in the Ardagh Cup. It is a 6.45pm kick-off at Abbey Park on Wednesday 20 April.
