The Largs Thistle Sportsmen's Dinner proved to be an important fundraiser and a terrific night of entertainment for the club at Nardini's Restaurant on Saturday.
Calum Corral, chairing the Largs Thistle dinner, sang 'Malt and Barley Blues' by McGuinness Flint to open the night, and to get everyone's attention! Calum said: "After dinner speaker Bill Copeland had us all in stitches, and I just about kept Tam Cowan in check, and we kept the night flowing with games including heads or tails, Irish Bingo, and an auction, bringing the night to an end with a tuneful rendition of 'We are the Thistle, We come from the coast!'. We raised lots of money for the club which was the aim of the game."
