Largs Thistle 4 Greenock Morton U20s 1
Thistle scored a fantastic four against Morton U20s as they stepped up their pre-season form.
Assisant manager Arnie, Stuart Davidson, has called on the Barrfields side to up their game ahead of the Morton friendly, which was watched by Cappielow boss Jim Duffy.
However, it was recently promoted Largs who set the pace with an early goal from James Marks in the opening minute of the game.
Marks doubled the lead with an accomplished finish on the hour mark, before a trialist added a third after further good work from Marks.
Morton hit back, but goals from trialist Lennox, and Sean Lamont rounded off a good scoreline for Thistle, with keeper Sean Lamont making some important saves for the Barrfields side.
