Eddie Walton, who has been at heart of many of the club's successes over recent years, has returned to Largs after signing up at the Barrfields club.
Thistle manager Stuart Davidson revealed the news at the club's Curryoake fundraiser on Saturday evening in the masonic hall in Largs, which raised £840 for club funds.
Speaking to the 'News', a delighted Eddie said: "I'm really glad to be back and thankful for the opportunity to prove I can still compete at this level , obviously I loved my time at Largs on both previous stays with some great teams and great memories."
Eddie had been featuring as a trialist in recent games, and played for Maryhill during recent seasons.
