Thistle teenager Matthew Ashe was singled out for praise by boss Stuart Davidson after Largs' remarkable win over Beith in the West.
Stuart said: "We have a lot of injuries, and had to bring four U19s into the squad . One of the players was young Matthew Ashe who was absolutely terrific, but to go into the next round was a fantastic achievement and well deserved.
He added: "We really had to defend well, and I thought the boys were fantastic."
With the senior team out of action this weekend, Largs Thistle U19s are in cup action at St Cadoc's at Eastwood High School, Newton Mearns.
The West Region Cup 1998s Third Round clash is a 2.45pm kick-off.
