It was a fantastic night of entertainment at the Largs Thistle Sportsmen's Dinner at Nardini's on Saturday.
The guest speakers were former Rangers and Manchester United great Jimmy Nicholl, and one of the top after dinner speakers in Scotland in former Morton and Motherwell winger John Gahagan.
The event was chaired by former 'News' editor Drew Cochrane.
The sportsmen's auction was also highly successful with the top prize - Kenny Barnstaple's Thistle's Scottish Cup winning goalkeeping jersey - going for £250, and was purchased by long term Thistle fan and helper Campbell Crawford. The event was attended by cup legend Kenny who also signed the jersey, and he was joined by another Scottish Cup hero Adam Russell. There were also two 1960s Largs players in attendance in Jack Ferguson and George Young who are both from West Kilbride.
It was laughter all the way with both speeches by the footballing legends going down a storm. It is one of the biggest fundraising events of the year for the Barrfields club, with Irish Bingo and raffles.
Chairman Peter Connor gave the vote of thanks and gave a special thank you to all sponsors and fans for their support of the club.
Thanks to Ryan Scott for the photographs.
