Largs Thistle have already re-signed both goalkeepers and the defence for next season.
This will provide solid foundations to the club's plans, with signing talks continuing.
The Largs management are also looking at bringing in some new signings for next season.
In the Premier Division as it stands, Kilwinning are in the play-off spot and sit three points ahead with a superior goal difference of nine goals, and both sides play Auchinleck in their final league fixture, date still to be confirmed.
Thistle President Peter Connor said: “We have put a lot of effort into the games, but we have been up against teams with much bigger budgets and we were up against it. Money does talk.
“Our manager Stuart Davidson has got an opportunity to put his own stamp on things, and we are delighted that he is staying on.
"We have had good results under Stuart and he gives 100 per cent — we have a great relationship with him, and everything is very positive."
The Largs Thistle Player of the Year celebration takes place on Saturday May 27 at the Masonic Club in Frazer Street, Largs at 7.30pm. The awards also include under 19s and under 16s.
All supporters are welcome.
