Largs boss Stuart Davidson is looking for a big improvement after Saturday's shock 4-1 reversal in Glasgow.
Stuart said: "We started the game well against Petershill, and created a number of chances, but basic mistakes and bad defending cost us. It was a real shame as we defended really well in our previous two games.
"All four goals we conceded were really poor from a defensive point of view - we never gave ourselves a chance, and even when we did score, Petershill went right up the park to score a minute later."
The Thistle boss was unhappy with some of the refereeing on Saturday, pointing to the injury Jamie Campbell received after a heavy challenge in the second half which went unpunished, whereas Creag Little saw red and his opponent didn't during a fiery incident in the first half.
However, Stuart said that he was pleased with the positive attitude shown by the players last night at training, and is looking for a strong response going into this weekend's clash at home to Kello.
He said: "The best way to get last weekend's game out of our system is to get a win against Kello this weekend."
