Largs Thistle face familiar friendly opposition as they travel to Port Glasgow on Wednesday evening at Parklea Stadium, 7.15pm kick-off.
It is an opportunity for Largs to get some important match time with no official game this Saturday due to the junior international weekend.
Thistle boss Stuart Davidson said: "It will be good to get a game and get Saturday's disappointing defeat to Cumbernauld out of our system rather than wait a fortnight for a game, and it is a wee chance to pick ourselves up, and get some match fitness.
""We were good in passages on Saturday but we didn't defend well in key moments, and I felt we do have the players to create chances and open up the defence a bit more - that didn't happen. I am not happy about the manner we lost it, and it was really disappointing. We are trying to get a wee run going but we don't seem to be able to kick on.
"You have to remember that we have quite a few young players and we are looking for that bit of consistency. I have every faith in the boys."
