In 1868, the Honourable G.F. Boyle presented the Garrison Cup to the curlers of Largs and Millport to be played for annually.
On Wednesday, 10th January the two clubs played in the 150th anniversary of the trophy at Greenacres Curling Club.
After the morning session, Millport were leading by 1 and 1/2 to 1/2. I the afternoon Largs rallied and won the cup by 2 and 1/2 to 1 and 1/2. To recognise the event, all players were presented with a commemorative pin badge.
