Largs Thistle's Sportsmen's Dinner was another great success with top quality speakers, fun and fundraising.
With Thistle gunning for a promotion place to the Premiership, it was another fantastic night with top draw after dinner speakers
The guest speakers were former Rangers vice-chairman QC Donald Findlay, and after-dinner speaker and comedian Joe Camay.
As well as a lot of laughs, the event raised money for the football club, with the top prize at the auction being a signed Manchester United jersey which went for £400. A signed Largs Thistle strip from this season also went for £300.
There was a a whole range of footballing memorabilia, and it always helps when Thistle won a big match at Cambuslang 3-0 earlier in the day, and many of the management and players were also in attendance.
Chaired by Drew Cochrane, the event also included a poignant tribute to Thistle's legendary striker Davie Cook, who recently passed away in his early 90s, having hit 87 goals in one season during the golden period of the 1950s.
Club President Peter Connor said: "I would like to thank all our sponsors for donating prizes, and everybody who attended on the night - we had over 100 people. We raised a good sum of money for the club."
Club fundraisers are crucial for supporting the club throughout the year.
Largs also have a sponsored cycle and a four ball golfing event planned for the summer months, and have race nights and music events throughout the year.
