Unless they get it 100 per cent all the time with VAR - what is the point of it?
Referees are going to make mistakes, the VAR (Video Assisted Referee) scheme has made mistakes as well - I don't see the point of it some times.
One of the clear examples of the problems it can cause was the Australia penalty against Denmark.
The referee didn't think it was a penalty either, and it went to VAR.
If the referee makes an obvious mistake, then it goes to this action replay system but it seems far from perfect.
The 3-0 victory for Croatia over Argentina was certainly one of the shock scores of the tournament.
New talents have also emerged and PSV Eindhoven's Hirving Lozano has impressed me on the wing for Mexico who come up against Brazil today who are beginning to find their form.

Kylian Mbappé certainly impressed for France against Argentina - of course, we know him well from Paris St Germain.

It is surprising that the footballing heavyweights such as Argentina, Spain and Germany have struggled in the tournament. Are Russia capable of springing a surprise?
They are the home country, and they have surprised everybody. Statistically it is one of the best starts that a home nation ever had in the first two games of a tournament, and after their dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Spain, who knows?
It was an exciting goalfest in the Champions League this year, and I am hoping that the World Cup will continue to be free flowing with lots of goals.
The last 16 games will hopefully be amazing. Could there be a surprise winner of the tournament?
Could Croatia, Columbia or England reach the last four?
The European teams looked to have early dominance in the tournament, but Columbia showed against Poland that the South Americans can certainly entertain. England will need to be wary tomorrow night.
I think Scotland could have done ok in some of these groups - they certainly wouldn't have embarrassed themselves, and only lost 1-0 to Mexico in a recent friendly.
The World Cup is one of the greatest stages of football - and it is so important that we return there again soon, hopefully under my friend Alex McLeish.
