Walking football in Largs could only be a few steps away.
The fast growing sport, for the more mature person, will be trialled at the National Sports Training Centre, Inverclyde on Wednesday, August 22 with all who fancy a shot at the ball - with the minimum of effort - welcome to try it.
KA Leisure and the Scottish FA will combine to set up a weekly session, scheduled between 11am and 12 on a small 7-a-side pitch at the state of the art Largs centre.
A pair of trainers, T shirt or casual top, shorts or casual trousers will get would-be participants started, and all for fun.
Craig Hamilton, football officer for KA Leisure and an Scottish FA coach will co-ordinate the first sessions which may be attended by the chairman of Walking Football, Scotland, Gary McLaughlin.
