A Fairlie man who now lives in the USA and coaches soccer brought his young team over to Largs to play on Independence Day - 4 July.
Mark Wilson, a former Largs Academy pupil, journeyed over with his team from Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania.
Mark, who is pictured with the team, said: "I brought over a U15s boys football team from ENCO United to train and play in Largs for a week."
Josh Black netted the winner for Largs Thistle 2001s midway in the second half in the international encounter at Barrfields Park.
And Mark's American select did triumph in a friendly encounter between Scottish youngsters and ENCO played at Kilwinning Sports Centre, triumphing 3-2, but lost to Tass in the final game of their Scottish tour.
