Academy hero played against Malaga

Striker Euan Lindsay has been given a surprise call up to the first team squad of Hamilton Accies and played in a glamour friendly against Spanish La Liga outfit Malaga on Wednesday evening.
The 17 year old goalscorer, who clinched the opening strike in Largs Academy's historic Scottish Schoolboy Final victory at Hampden Park, was asked to join the squad in Marbella this week.
The La Liga outfit were staging a charity match to raise funds for a player who has cancer, and approached Hamilton Accies to play the game. Euan scored his first goal for the first team last week in a friendly against Queen's Park which Hamilton won 5-4.

Starring against a La Liga outfit could be Euan Lindsay who has been selected for the first team squad in Wednesday night's charity friendly in Spain.
Mum Donna said: "Euan has been doing really well in the first team after coming off the bench as a sub on his last two appearances. He will be playing at a big stadium and it is an amazing experience for him."
* Euan Lindsay came off the subs bench late in the second half as Malaga ran out 2-0 winners in the friendly.
