Largs Archery Club were on target in the Ayrshire Archery League on Sunday afternoon.
The sporting discipline requires a steady hand, accuracy and concentration, and as usual, it was highly competitive, with some of the Largs members in and amongst the medals at the end of an exciting afternoon of play.
Finishing in sixth position overall, some members picked up medals for personal performances
Lucy Coutts scored a fabulous 268 and received a gold medal for the 12 year and under girls
Sophie Coutts scored a superb 416 and received a bronze medal for the 16 year old and under girls category 
Lilian Watkins pictured in the group shot scored a fabulous 188 receiving a bronze medal for her efforts in the same category and also Scarlet Holtz pictured in the group shot scored a wonderful 196 receiving a silver medal for her efforts in the same category/
Clifton Corbin seen as the tallest boy in the group shot scored 519 and won a silver medal for his efforts in the novice gents category
Largs Archery club continue to look for more members
With five coaches as part of the Largs Archery Club, they can provide coaching for advanced archers and new archers alike. It is target driven in every sense of the word!
Members range in age from as young 10 to over 60 and you can either come and shoot as a ‘social’ archer or join their small group of competitive archers.
Members have the opportunity to work towards FITA awards and compete in the Ayrshire League
