Largs Tennis Club are hoping to stage derby clash this Sunday afternoon in the Masters league opening.
Largs 2 got promoted last season to Division 1 in their first season, and will be playing Largs 1 who have previously triumphed in the Masters section. The Masters is for over 40s ladies, and over 45s gents and is played throughout August and September.
There was more mixed doubles actions last week as Largs 1 netted a comprehensive win over Ayr 2 at Douglas Park, winning nine sets to love. The team were Hazel Koerner, Malcolm McAulay, Sue Wilkie, Lewis McAulay, David Anton and Lesley MacLellan.
Largs 1's quarter final at Prestwick was postponed on Wednesday due to poor weather.
