Largs Tennis Club hosts its AGM on Thursday March 14 at the Woodhouse Hotel, starting at 7.30pm. Members welcome. There will also be a buffet.
The Sunday tennis sessions at Inverclyde Sports Centre have resumed on Sundays from 2-4pm, after a break due to bad weather, and there was a good turnout of players last weekend.
A new Ayrshire tennis singles league has been set up on Saturday afternoons. Largs drew their first match at Stewarton, but lost out at home on Saturday against Kilmarnock. The singles matches involve two teams of three who all play against each other in three intense half hour matches which have no advantage, and have sudden death points at deuce.
