Largs Badminton Club is always a volley good show, as these photos by Charlie Gilmour testify.
The club is one of the longest running sports club at Inverclyde Sports Centre, dating back to when the complex opened in 1958.
So it is apt that the sport will be carrying on during the transitional phase of the £11m parasports development which is due to be completed for November 2016.
Badminton is playing in the main gym hall every Thursday evening from 7.30pm-9.30pm.
There are doubles events, and competitions at the end of the year, while singles has also been introduced in competition in more recent years.
The pictures include some of the regular club players including Margaret Gibson, who has represented Scotland in the veterans badminton squad in recent years. Alastair Houston, Brian Stewart, and Andrew Boyle, to name just a few. So there is no excuse for you not to dust down that racquet, and get playing!
