Largs Thistle put in a strong showing at the end of this encounter to overcome a plucky effort from Craigmark in the Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup.
The Dalmellington side opening the scoring on three minutes with a spectacular overhead kick from McCambley, before Alan Frizzell notched an equaliser for the Super League First Division league leaders, with a sweeping strike on the angle from the left, despatched cooly into the bottom right hand corner.
Pierce nodded Largs ahead 2-1, before sub James Marks put in a pacey run down the left and the ball was knocked by his own keeper by a Craigmark defender.
Craigmark pulled a goal back on 80 minutes from Bryce Reid, but Thistle didn't rest on their laurels and restored their two goal lead with a cute chipped free kick by Gary Phillips over the wall to Marks who lashed the ball home from 10 yards, with Pierce rounding off the scoring on 91 minutes to seal an away tie against Irvine Vics in the next round.
