Thistle assistant boss Arnie has praised keeper Ross Lundy for collecting a hat trick of gongs at the recent Player of the Year awards at the masonic hall.
Stuart Davidson said the young keeper had had a great season and was fully deserving of the trophy after making some top drawer saves, including a vitally important stop in Thistle's incredible 2-1 turnaround at Kilsyth to clinch promotion.
And in further good news, top scorer James Marks, has agreed to re-sign for the Barrfields men, after playing an intergral part in the club's success this season.
Arnie said: "Ross has had a great season and deserves a trophy as much as anyone. It is important to remember that it was a team effort this season and everyone played their part."
Leaving the club is influential midfielder Graham Muir who has served the club for four seasons, and has popped up with some crucial goals, including a wonder strike in the promotion play-off v Ashfield. 'Muiry' is Medda bound, as the Irvine team have installed the experienced midfielder as skipper.
Forward Alan Frizzell did not have his contract renewed, and is on the move to Clydebank.
