Largs manager Stuart Davidson believes it was a poor decision not to award Scott Adam a goal on Saturday during the second half.

Thistle lost out 3-1 in the end-up at Sauchie in an action packed second half to the ETHX Scottish Cup 2nd round encounter.

Sauchie were 1-0 up when Adam came off the bench to net what appeared to be the equaliser.

"Reflecting on the cup defeat. Stuart said: “The first half was even, but we might have edged it, and the second half I thought we reacted great to losing the early goal. I thought we had a good goal by Scott Adam chopped off for offside. Scott was on an onside position, but Creag Little was not, and the linesman put his flag up. I thought it was harsh.
“We are just missing out on the rub of the green at the moment, but we need to keep working hard.”
The Thistle boss thanked the great support who came through to Sauchie on Saturday.
He added: “We have had a difficult situation in relation to injuries and some players have had to play on with injuries. Sean Graham ended up in hospital on Saturday evening after a collision with one of his players. We have had injury problems with the keepers in recent weeks, and hopefully Ross Lundy will be back for the weekend.”

Largs face Darvel on Saturday at Barrfields, 2pm kick-off.
