Largs boss Stuart Davidson was delighted with three well earned points in Glasgow on Saturday.

Stuart said:  “It was a tough match, and Maryhill will feel unfortunate not to get anything from the game, as they did have spells when they troubled us but I felt we defended well and Sean Graham also took care of a number of situations but I felt we always had that quality and it shone through at the end.”
“Ryan McKie showed what he was capable of - he should be hungry having missed half of the season. The only problem is that he is joining the fire brigade and there may be some occasions when he will not be able to play. Hopefully we don’t miss him too much as he can play a big part in our promotion bid.”
“Maryhill was always going to be a tough place to go, specially after having had the break. I felt the Christmas lay-off came at a bad time for us as we had been building up some momentum going into the festive period with good results, so I was particularly pleased we got 2018 off to a win.”

Stuart also praised the good squad atmosphere with everyone pulling for each other throughout with the feel good factor helping Largs to see out the victory.
