Largs Thistle hope to unleash their top two strikers this Saturday as they go all out for victory in the first of five 'cup finals' in the club's bid for promotion to the top flight.
It is a 2pm kick-off at Barrfields Park as fourth placed Largs take on third placed Cambuslang in the McBookie.com Super West 1st Division for the second time in a fortnight.
'Thessel' hope to welcome back sharp shooters Scott Adam and John Carter from recent injuries for the crunch match.
Both teams sit on 35 points, but Cambuslang have four games in hand, and the importance of Saturday's game is there for all to see, with Largs having played more games that the teams around them with four promotion places up for grabs. Fifth and sixth place guarantees a play-off.
Adam is top scorer with 15 goals, and scored a sweet volley in the abandoned game between the sides in January, while Carter has impressed with his speed and finishing but missed the last Cambuslang clash through injury.
Thistle assistant boss Martin Crawford said: "Carter and Adam are both returning to fitness. Carter is a proper handful - with him you know there is only going to be one winner, and you know you are going to get 150 per cent out of him.
"Winger Alex McWaters has also been very impressive in recent games too, he loves his football and wants to be on the ball for the whole 90 minutes. We have been giving him some coaching points in terms of delivering the ball into the right areas, and it is benefitting."
Another player who has impressed in recent games is Dylan Stevenston and he is also likely to feature, but will be returning to his parent club Dalry shortly after arriving on only a month's loan.
The good news for Largs is that they have a full squad to choose from, with only a few knocks after Saturday's friendly against Irvine Vics, with Adam being taken off as a precaution after receiving a tweak.
"The boys know now that we only have five league games to go," said Crawford, "and so nothing matters now as to what has gone previous this season, it is all about these next five matches, and our whole season rests on that. The boys are aware, and we will do our best, and give 150%, and hopefully that should be enough for us to secure a promotion place. We have to concern ourselves with one game at a time."
"We have a good honest group of players."
Speaking about Cambuslang, who overcame Largs after a dramatic West of Scotland cup contest a few years, Crawford said: "We are still confident we can overturn them in the crucial games. We lost to them on penalties a few weeks ago but penalties are always an anomaly. Scorelines don't always tell the full story, but we start with a blank canvas this weekend, and give everything we have.
"We have a high tempo game, and we know we can hurt them, and they know that we can hurt them too, and we need to get our minds focussed on the full 90 minutes.
"We are totally committed to Largs Thistle and getting that promotion slot, and we hope that the crowd can get behind us, and see that we are trying to play an attractive brand of football, and give us that extra lift."
Largs drew 0-0 with Vics on Saturday at Barrfields Park, and it provided some valuable fitness time for some of the players coming back from injury going into this weekend's big contest.
Thistle's remaining league games are Larkhall at home on Saturday 21 April, and visit Cambuslang on 28 April, and then have two remaining away fixtures to round off the season.
