Thistle want to avoid a banana skin against lowly Larkhall, and keep their promotion dream on course this Saturday in another big Barrfields fixture, 2pm kick-off.
It is the last home league game of the season, and Thistle boss Stuart Davidson want a bumper crowd to help push the players on to victory.
Davidson said: "When we played Larkhall, we beat them 1-0 in September, and it was a really hard match, we know we are in for a game.
"They are near the bottom of the table, but at this stage of the season you do see shock results, so we need to make sure we are not on the wrong end of one.
"We have been on a right good run since October, only losing to Irvine Meadow in the league, and I have to commend the players. The attitude and the work ethic has been great. If we can keep doing that till the end of the season, we can hopefully get promoted."
