Pollok 3 Largs Thistle 2 A 91st minute blunder by keeper Ryan McWilliams handed Pollok all three points in a dramatic finish to a relegation battle, as Largs threw away a two goal half-time lead.

It was an agonising defeat which leaves Largs firmly rooted to bottom spot..

Basement boys Thistle could not have wished to get off to a better start with two stunning strikes from Nicky Little and Dylan McLaughlin within the opening half hour.

Euan Lindsay had a good opening on five minutes as he raced through on goal, but Pollok keeper Murdoch raced off his line to obstruct the in-form forward outside the area, and was given a yellow card, as two defenders were behind him, although Lindsay looked like he could have gone on to score.

Largs looked comfortable in the first half with little sign of any danger but Pollok came out the traps with all guns blazing in the second half and dominated for long spells.

And the game changer came on 65 minutes when Pollok scored twice within a minute as Thistle's defence was breached by two high balls into the box.

Firstly, Hannah sent a flicked effort high into the top left hand corner of the net from ten yards, and next Bradley smacked home the leveller with a half volley.

Pollok were mounting a series of dangerous attacks with crosses missed by two forwards, and then McMillan hit the post with a pointblank header.

Just when it looked like Largs had done enough to clear the danger and earn themselves a point, keeper Ryan McWilliams made a hash of a clearance which fell straight to Ritchie Barr who toe poked the ball over the backtracking keeper's head and into the net.

It was a hammerblow for Sandy MacLean's troops who relinquished a two goal lead, and leaves Largs facing a tough challenge now if they are to avoid relegation to the First Division.
