Thistle boss Sandy MacLean believes that Largs could yet drag Glenafton into the relegation dogfight if Largs beat them on Saturday, and says his side can still dig themselves out of of the depths of the Premiership..

It is a 2pm kick-off at Barrfields Park on Saturday, and manager MacLean has praised the supporters for their strong show of solidarity in recent weeks, and has urged them to turn out in big numbers this weekend.

It is a huge day for the Barrfields men, as the other relegation candidates Arthurlie host Pollok, but manager MacLean said it doesn't matter what happens up the road at Barrfields if Largs can't take care of themselves.

Thistle are sitting on bottom spot, and three points is essential to keep their hopes of staying alive.

Sandy said: "We need to get the points as I still think we can dig ourselves out of this. We are running out of games and our level or performance in the first half against Pollok, and against Kilbirnie has been high.

"We have been working hard on training on when other teams have possession and trying to make us more solid. We have been scoring two goals per game lately and that should be enough to win but we need to keep them out at the other end."
