Largs Thistle manager Sandy MacLean is angry that Ardeer game wasn't scheduled for Barrfields after a late postponement.

Sandy said: “I was disappointed that the Ardeer game was off on Saturday on the basis that it would have been another game of Iain Fisher’s suspension out of the way. and he could have featured against Beith. The pitch was poor - and you are worried in the conditions that you end up with two or three injuries so I was kind of glad it was off.

“I said a few weeks ago that we should have been handed the Ardeer fixture at home given our 3G pitch. Instead, we have been given four away games on the spin. You would think at this time of year with the weather, it would be the other way round.

“Ardeer have played their last two out of three games at home, so it would have been fair enough.”
