Largs Thistle's final friendly of the pre-season takes place on Wednesday evening against Whitletts, 7.15pm kick-off at Barrfields And in this week's Largs and Millport News. assistant boss Stuart Davidson believes preparations are going well for the new season, which kicks off on Saturday against Kilbirnie, 2pm kick-off at home.
Stuart said that extensive training sessions and some competitive friendlies of late have put the club in good stead for the start of the season.
Stuart, who is a previous winner of the Ardagh Cup tournament, said he believes Kilbirnie will be challengers for the Premier League this season, and his side face a tough early test.
