Largs Golfers support the Help for Heroes Charity

136 members, including 13 ladies, played in the National Golf Club charity stableford and a putting competition on Saturday, 24th July, raising a valuable £440 to send to the Help for Heroes charity.
David McLellan won the gents competition with 40 stableford points beating Alex Kerr, also 40 points, on a count-back. Iain S. Macdonald was third with 39 points.
Jean Featherstone was victorious in the Ladies competition with 34 points with Carolyn Quigley second on 32 points and Christine Whitelaw 3rd with 31 points.
The putting competition was won by George Whitelaw with Fraser McPhail second.
