Largs business woman Toni Dawson is set to run her first ever half-marathon this weekend in memory of her father.
Toni Dawson of Sugar and Spice confectionery and gift shop started running 4 years ago "for the fun of it" after her dad, Gerald, died of cancer in June 2005.
Toni launched her ice cream 'Geraldo's' in his memory, and is now raising money for the Ayrshire Hospice where he died.
She has trained hard for the GSR half marathon this Sunday, and set up a fundraising site just last week hoping everyone will donate at least £10 to The Ayrshire Hospice who looked after her dad during his illness.
