Largs Town Twinning chairman Richard Wilkinson said: "We are planning to have a town centre parade of all the teams with some entertainment included - we will then have an opening ceremony on the seafront with a mobile stage, and an MC playing some music as part of the welcome." NAC Provost Joan Sturgeon will formally open the games, and the main sporting venues will be at Inverclyde Sports Centre, Largs Swimming Pool and Largs Golf Club. There will also be opportunities for the public to come and view some of the events.

Mr Wilkinson said: "It will be unique - I don't remember anything like this concerning an international games event of this type before happening in Largs." For more details about the Town Twinning, go to their site at http://www.facebook.com/LargsTwinTownGames2013
