Swimmers from Largs and Fairlie made a splash during a prestigious end of year prizegiving.

Jennifer King, Emma Scully and Connor Tarran were amongst the winners when North Ayrshire Amateur Swimming Club recently held their annual prizegiving at the Ardrossan Civic Centre. There was a superb turnout from the swimmers and their parents. The trophies are awarded to the individuals who perform the best in their age group over three separate events throughout the year: 25/50m sprints in all strokes, relays and specific individual swims. The evening was a great success with Don McKillop’s famous curry on offer, and family bingo to round off the evening.
