The GB Deaf Swim team are coming to Largs on Saturday 25 October and there will be an opportunity for deaf children and young people to see them train at the Vikingar Pool between 8-10am and again between 4-6pm. Entry is Free.
This is a great opportunity to see how the coaches communicate with the young people and encourage them to be the best they can be.
The young people in the team are inspirational and through swimming have the opportunity to travel to different places and countries to compete.
There will be Ayrshire representation with Danielle Joyce from Saltcoats who will be there. She has achieved six world deaf swimming records. This event has been supported by North Ayrshire Council.
