Open Day
Warren Park is hosting a fun day on Saturday 20 June starting at 2pm. There will be something for everyone including baking stall, Irish dancers, wet sponge, tug of war and a limbo competition.
African Choir
The internationally acclaimed African"s Children"s Choir will be performing at St John"s Church in Largs on Sunday 21 June. The concert includes well loved children"s songs, popular gospel tunes, and lively spirituals. Through their songs and routines, the choir brings Africa to life in all its colour and splendour.
Gardening Club
Largs Gardening Club meets up every two weeks and is looking for some new green-fingered members. Their next meeting is on Tuesday 23 June at 6.30pm. Garden expert George Irvine is giving a talk and answering questions. Also at ever meeting, there will be a seed and plant swop.
The entry fee is £1. Meetings are held at the Monastery tea rooms with free car park behind in Burnlea Road. So come along and join this new gardening club for Largs. If you have any enquiries, contact Heidi on 07504 854425.
OIR
The OIR will discuss the future plans for the organisation in an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held in the Dunn Memorial Hall on Wednesday 8 July at 2pm. The OIR are proposing to move to Helter Skelter from the present OIR Bath Street office which will be closed in July during the changeover.
Bric-a-brac
Largs Blooming Lovely is hosting a bric-a-brac fundraiser at the Toch H Rooms on Saturday 27 June from 10am-12 noon.
Bosom Buddies
The next meeting is on Monday 29 June at 7.30pm in the Lounge, Main Street. The group will be having their family night. It will be a fun evening with a raffle, and a quiz, followed by a delicious buffet. Come along, bring a friend, or a family member, you will be made most welcome. Music Evening
Project Trust are hosting a Music Evening fundraiser at Nardini"s on Thursday 18 June, 8pm. Project Trust is a Scottish based charity which supports young volunteers going on community based projects worldwide.
RNLI Open Day
The Largs Lifeboat Open Day takes place on Saturday 18 July from 12 noon onwards. A full day of activities and events take place including helicopter rescue displays and the Largs Round Table"s Raft Race. Anybody who is interested in participating and building a raft should phone Stephen on 07711 906 405. The Lifeboat is also having an Open Day ceilidh fundraiser from 8pm till midnight at Inverclyde Sports Centre later that evening.

Largs Litter Pick Up
Largs Blooming Lovely are having a litter pick-up on Sunday 2 August 2-5pm in readiness for the Scotland in Bloom judging on 5 August. Meet at Toch H Building in Bath Street all the equipment will be provided. Bring your family and friends.
