Scotland’s premier compere, Raymond Mearns, returns to Lounge in Largs to introduce Phil Differ, writer and creator of “Only an Excuse”, local comedienne Kirsty Morrison (pictured), rising star Chris Conroy and Sandy Nelson, one of the main collaborators at Oran Mor’s Pie, Play and Pint.
Sandy is also the postman in “Chewing the Fat”.
Now at the earlier time of 7pm to 10pm, tickets are only £6. Pre-show dinner, with tickets included, is £17 per person.
Next up is The Jazz Lounge on Thursday 26 June — another outstanding international ensemble to WOW an already spoiled Largs jazz audience.
“The Bobby Wishart International Quintet” includes an American on double bass, Erik Lars Hansen, and an Englishman on vocals, Jackie Murray, widely renowned as one of the finest jazz vocalists on the circuit.
Others in the line-up are Gino Ciancio on keyboards, and the mainstay of Bobby’s bands, Frank Bolam, a regular on TV and radio, is on guitar.
And, of course, the main man himself, local legend Mr Bobby Wishart, needs no introduction.
Dining in style tickets are available from Lounge at £15.95.
To book either of these events, contact Lounge on 01475 689968.
